On July 16, 2022, Sunoco Lubricants’ new distributor for Liberia launched the company’s premium quality products into the coastal West African nation. In attendance to celebrate the occasion with McIntosh, Inc. was the US Ambassador to Liberia, Michael A. McCarthy. Ambassador McCarthy was happy to attend the event that marked the introduction of a “Made in America” brand to the country. The launch received widespread coverage by the Inquirer Newspaper, a leading daily publication based in the capital city of Monrovia.
McIntosh’s CEO, Elliott McIntosh, who maintains residences in both the US and in Liberia, stated that he knew that if he and his team were going to supply lubricants to Liberia, it was going to be with a brand that is recognized for its long and successful history of providing quality products throughout the world.
